some social media posts or unreliable websites spread false claims that Jackson Anthony had passed away following a severe car accident in 2022.These posts quickly went viral leading many to believe he had died ,despite no confirmation from his family or official sources at the time.
02. COVID-19,
During the COVID-19 Pandamic,sri lanka saw a surge in fake news related to the virus. there were numerous false reports about the virus's spread, treatment methods, and vaccine side effects. For instance,one piece of fake news circulated widely claimed that consuming certain herbs or traditional medicines could prevent or cure covid-19, leading to confusion and potential health risks.
In summary, *real news analysis* helps inform and provide context, while *fake news analysis* distorts information to mislead or manipulate the audience. Fact-checking and source verification are key to distinguishing between the two.
